I'm a big fan of both film and digital photography.
I don't fancy one over the other, and more often than not, I'm trying to get a more film look to my digital photos and I use photoshop on my film photos to clean things up.
Lets call these processes - Figital. There are both elements of both film and digital.
You know what I'm not a fan of? Photography snobs.
From the digital corner, you have people grumbling about there being grain in film photos, or that you can take 1000s of photos with one memory card, or the photos are tack sharp - therefore (somehow) superior.
And in the film corner, you have the film hipsters saying it's a more 'pure' form of photography, the process is more real. And there shall be the stamping of feel if a film photo is tweaked in photoshop.
Fellow photographers -seriously- Get over it! Both film and digital have their pros and cons. Both have unique effects that can't be easily replicated by the other. I love my Canon Mark II 5D just as much as my Kowa SIX and I love them both just as much as my Holga, and all of them just as much as my other 30 odd toy/antique/rare film cameras.
So. Yes. Deep breath everyone. We're all friends... right?
